Kelham Island pubs are famous throughout the country, but the area was once one of the industrial pulses of Sheffield. In recent years Kelham Island has been revitalised, coupling trendy bars, food halls and restaurants with some of Sheffield’s best real ale pubs. The good news is that because this area of Sheffield is a hive of independent businesses, most of the pubs down this way are dog friendly pubs. Kelham Island pubs are right at the heart of what makes Sheffield a great craft beer city.
Kelham Island food is where its at, you’ll find a fantastic street food scene with monthly Peddler night markets, The Cutlery Works food hall and Steel Yard venue all playing host to fantastic street food and independent food sellers. Alongside street food you’ll find wonderful restaurants and cafes serving up delicious food as well. You’ll never be short of places to eat in Kelham Island.
Just as a warning, Kelham Island is a very popular area of Sheffield for nightlife and these locations can be a little too busy for your dog in the late evening on a weekend. Use your best judgement before visiting.
